The AppInterN portal aims to strengthen the links between Apprenticeship, VET and Corporate Social Responsibility by inviting employers to offer apprenticeships, internships and jobs to VET students and graduates, and share information on the national and international labour market situation, current skill requirements and occupational/sectoral developments (including key issues such as upskilling and reskilling). Employers can thus play an active role in preparing students and graduates for their future careers.
Through the AppInterN online portal, employers search for DYPA EPAS/IEK graduates, while graduates can search for jobs offered by businesses/employers.
The AppInterN online portal will help unemployed EPAS/IEK graduates gain easier access to the labour market thanks to the business ambassadors, namely established professionals and business representatives participating in the AppInterN community.
DYPA
Through the development of the necessary skills and qualifications and by providing scientific, technical, vocational and practical knowledge, the DYPA IEK aim at smoothly integrating trainees/students into the production process.
The DYPA Apprenticeship Vocational Schools (EPAS) and Experimental Apprenticeship Vocational Schools (PEPAS) ensure that their students gain professional experience in real working conditions.
The system of on-the-job training implemented by DYPA has proven to be very effective in practice, as a significant percentage of students, after the end of their studies, continue to be employed in the same occupational specialty or business.
The Business Ambassadors will play an intermediary role in the AppInterN online community, offering information to trainees/trainees and graduates of the IEKs and Apprenticeship Training Centres of DYPA on the current needs and trends of the labour market, as well as the prospects of business activity.
The AppInterN online platform aims to: strengthen the links between VET providers and corporate social responsibility by inviting businesses and employers to offer apprenticeships and jobs to DYPA EPAS and IEK students and graduates; contribute to the exchange of information on the current labour market state of play, skill requirements in each occupation, as well as occupational/sectoral developments (including such key issues as upskilling and reskilling).
The PEPAS implement the Dual VET System, which combines school-based theoretical and laboratory education with company-based Apprenticeship (workplace-based learning with remuneration and social insurance coverage). The theoretical and laboratory components are conducted from November to April, while Apprenticeship takes place from May to October.
