Terms of Use & Privacy Policy

  1. The AppInterN online portal is targeted to students and graduates looking for new job opportunities through apprenticeships, as well as employers and business ambassadors looking for apprentices, trainees, and staff. Additionally, it is targeted to any user who wants information on apprenticeships and vocational education and training, as well as on the developments of the professional specialties hosted in the AppInterN portal. The user/visitor may use the AppInterN online portal solely in a legal way and for legal purposes within the framework of the intended and acceptable uses defined by the AppInterN project consortium. Any commercial use of the content of the AppInterN online portal, as well as any other use thereof without the prior written permission of the AppInterN project consortium, is expressly prohibited. The content of the AppInterN online portal is subject to change at the discretion of the AppInterN project consortium without prior notice. Any illegal use will result in the suspension/interruption of the user/visitor’s access to the online portal by the AppIntern project consortium without any prior notification.

  2. The AppInterN online portal itself and all its content are the intellectual property of UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium with the exception of the rights expressly recognized and reserved for third parties. Therefore, with regard to the copyright of both UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium, it is expressly prohibited to reproduce, republish, copy, store, sell, transmit, distribute, publish, perform, load (download), translate and modify in any way whatsoever, in part or in summary thereof, without the prior express consent of UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN consortium. In exceptional cases, individual saving and copying of parts of content on a personal computer is permitted exclusively for personal use without the intention of commercial exploitation or any other form, and always on condition that the source of the origin of the content is indicated, without this implying the granting of intellectual property rights. For any questions regarding the reproduction rights of any part of the content of the AppInterN online portal, as well as for requests of UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium’s consent to reproduce any part of the content, the user/visitor can contact UnitelmaSapienza using the “Contact Form” published on the AppInterN online portal.

  3. The content of the AppInterN online portal is available as is; neither UnitelmaSapienza nor the AppInterN project consortium provides any warranty as to the completeness, correctness, timeliness, merchantability, non-infringement, or appropriateness of the content for any use, application or purpose. UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium are not responsible for any damage caused to the user/visitor of the web pages, services, and contents of the online portal which s/he accesses on his/her own initiative and under his/her own responsibility.

  4. UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium will make every possible effort to ensure that the AppInterN online portal can be available and fully operational on a constant basis. UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium are not responsible for any loss or damage caused to a user/visitor as a result of unavailability due to a failure or scheduled maintenance of the Information System of UnitelmaSapienza or the other national partners of the AppInterN project consortium.

  5. UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium will make every possible effort to ensure that no viruses or other harmful elements find a way into the AppInterN online portal. However, UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium declare that they are not responsible for any damage or loss due to viruses and other harmful elements that may be caused to users/visitors of the AppInterN online portal or another site server through which the content of UnitelmaSapienza online portal is accessed.

  6. The AppInterN online portal allows access to third-party websites via links (links, hyperlinks). These links have been included solely to facilitate users/visitors of the AppInterN online portal, while the websites to which they direct the latter are subject to their respective Terms of Use. The inclusion of such links does not constitute a proof of approval or acceptance of the content of the respective websites on behalf of UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium, which are not liable for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of the information contained therein. Access to these websites is the sole responsibility of the individual users/visitors accessing them. This online portal also includes interaction sections (interactive areas). The user/visitor should know that when s/he voluntarily declares his/ her personal data (e.g. user name, email address) in an interactive area in the online portal, this information along with the factual information disclosed in his/her communication may be collected, correlated and used by third parties and may result in “unsolicited” third party correspondence. Such actions are not monitored by UnitelmaSapienza nor the AppInterN project consortium, which do not guarantee to which extent it is possible for the identity of the user/visitor to be disclosed using methods that cannot be controlled.

  7. UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium may collect non-personal data leading to the identification of the online portal users by using appropriate technologies, such as cookies or tracking of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. Non-personal data may also include the browser type the user/visitor uses, the computer type, and operational system, the web service providers and other relevant information. Furthermore, the system of UnitelmaSapienza and of the AppInterN project consortium may automatically collect information regarding the websites the user/visitor visits, as well as the links included in websites of third parties that s/he may select when accessing the AppInterN online portal. The user/visitor of the AppInterN online portal can configure his/her Internet browsing program (web browser) in such a way that s/he can receive warnings about the use of cookies in specific services or to reject the use of cookies in any case. In case the user/visitor of specific services and webpages does not wish to allow the use of cookies for his/her identification, s/he cannot have further access to these services.

  8. Users/visitors are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of the AppInterN online portal—for example, by using a user/visitor’s personal data for purposes other than the permitted ones, by preventing third parties from accessing the online portal, etc. This violation can lead to civil and criminal charges.

  9. The use of the AppInterN online portal is subject to these Terms of Use. The use of the AppInterN online portal is conditional on the fact that the user/visitor has carefully read and accepted the Terms of Use. In case the user/visitor does not consent to the Terms of Use of this online portal, s/he should not make use of the services and content thereof. The present Terms of Use apply to the entire content of the AppInterN online portal.

  10. UnitelmaSapienza and the AppInterN project consortium may modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. For this reason, users/visitors are kindly asked to periodically check the Terms of Use of the AppInterN online portal.

  11. The Terms of Use of the AppInterN online portal and any modification or variation thereof are governed by applicable national and EU law and the relevant international treaties.
